Lesson#1: Real Men Have BEARDS.

Assalamu ‘Alaykoum, ya akhi, hope you’re ready for a fresh start on your new lifestyle!

-THE STORY-

SO. It’s a typical school morning. You just got up from bed, strolled half-asleep into the bathroom and looked at yourself in the mirror with crusts in your eyes.

You spot a few rough, black dots of hair around your mouth and on your chin, creeping up your jawline.

You rub the area and sigh to yourself.
“Aww man, I just shaved yesterday…”, you say to yourself.

But you can’t go to school like that! Everyone will think you had a rough weekend!

So you take out your bottle of shaving mousse and reach out for your razor… WAIT! STOP!

WOOOAH, HOLD ON, MAN, YOU’RE ABOUT TO COMMIT SOME SERIOUS DAMAGE THERE.

-THE LECTURE-

Ok, the real message behind this story is: KEEP YOUR BEARD. IT’S THE ONLY THING (among others) THAT MAKES YOU A MAN AND MAKES YOU DIFFERENT TO A WOMAN. KEEP. IT.

Wanna know why?? WELL, if you don’t do that, you’ll make Al Fatir (the Creator) very furious. Because HE CREATED YOU WITH A BEARD. And you’re ruining HIS creation.

-THE BENEFITS-

-Having a beard is an obligatory tradition of the Prophet ‘Alayhissalat Wassalaam.

-A beard keeps your skin young, glowing and soft.

-It makes you look more handsome. (Believe it or not, a lot of girls go crazy for guys with facial hair. Trust me, I know what I’m sayin’.)

-It looks super manly and attractive.

-It’s a sign to show others you’re Muslim.

And it has many other good things associated with it.

-THE CONCLUSION-

Pretty simple. You must not shave your beard or moustache off. You can trim the ‘stache so it doesn’t grow on top of your lip but trim. Not shave completely off.

You may throw your razor away now. Or use it to shave your armpits. Whatever you like.

-Wassalamu ‘Alaykoum.
